Celebrating Progress Towards A Revitalised Naenae Town Centre - Saturday 16 July, 2022

There’ll be a day of activities in Naenae on July 16 in conjunction with the Naenae Saturday Markets to mark key milestones in revitalising the town centre.

We’re making progress: from the start of construction on the new pool and fitness centre, to the finalised designs for a new community space in the old Post Office building, an upgrade to Hillary Court, and the re-opening of the Naenae Neighbourhood Hub and Library after some much needed maintenance and refurbishment - there is a lot to celebrate.

There’ll be kai, music and entertainment, and displays and information on some of the key projects that are underway. People will even be able to take a virtual walk through the new pool and fitness centre.

It’ll be a great chance for people to re-connect with their neighbourhood and check out some new offerings in the town centre and in the Neighbourhood Hub and Library.

Kokiri Health Centre will be there with their vaccination bus and the Kai Collective will be on site with their kai kits.
