Nominations have now closed in the Masterton Local Elections for 2022.

Candidate nominations in the Masterton District as at noon today (12 August) are as follows:

As the number of nominees match the number of vacancies in the Masterton/Whakaoriori Māori Ward and the Montfort Trimble Foundation, voting will not be required, and the candidates are elected unopposed.

Voting in the Local Government Elections for 2022 will run from 16 September to noon 8 October 2022. Full candidate profiles will be available on the Masterton District Council website following confirmation of candidate details by the Electoral Officer.
