The Mount! Mt Eden Prison has been the focus of protest action before. Here pictured is "Hole in the Wall Gang" leader, Kerr during his 1995 turret-top campout. This time, the protest is inside. A hunger-strike. And the incarcerated are not criminals but asylum seekers.

Delamere Should Consider A Week At The Mount
- A group of imprisoned asylum seekers currently locked up at Auckland's notorious Mt Eden Prison are refusing food. Their protest is against a pathetically slow bureaucracy which appears arrogant and bullish in its dealing with the seekers' claims for residency. One person can resolve this issue: Tuariki Delamere.
