Import News From The Importers Institute
1 November 2000 - Seminar: Importing with a dollar below 30 cents
How would you do business if the New Zealand dollar dropped below 30 cents? Don't be ridiculous! (But didn't you also say that when we predicted that it would drop below 40 cents?)
Bancorp Merchant Bankers are not saying the kiwi could, or would, fall or rise to any level. What they are saying is that you need to have a risk management strategy for such an eventuality. And they are inviting you to a breakfast in Auckland to tell you all about it.
Bancorp provides independent treasury advisory services and, because it does not participate in the financial markets in either a product selling or trading capacity, its independence is assured.
The breakfast briefing will take place at 7:30 am on Thursday, 16 November. Attendance is free to Importers Institute members, but limited to a maximum of 40 (first come, first served - if oversubscribed, we may run another breakfast on the 17th). To register, reply to this email and we will contact you with venue details and date confirmation.
