Mobil Gives Motorists Notice Of Fuel Price Rise
Mobil Oil New Zealand has announced that its fuel prices will begin moving up at company operated sites from tomorrow morning.
A spokesperson for Mobil said that it was with great reluctance that the company had been forced to make the move but was keen to give motorists reasonable notice of the imminent rise.
From tomorrow, Mobil prices at company operated sites in major centres will be at a mean of 119.9 cents per litre (cpl) for regular petrol, 124.9 cpl for premium and 90.9 cpl for diesel.
The spokesperson said that recent rises in the costs of base product and fluctuations in the value of the New Zealand dollar had meant that the company was unable to hold current pump prices any longer.
He said that as soon as underlying costs reduced, Mobil would pass savings on and advised motorists to keep a watch on the price boards at Mobil service stations for the latest price information.
