Shell Offers Another New Fuel Discount
Shell continues its aggressive push to deliver better petrol prices by announcing that all 96 octane fuel will be sold for 91 octane prices from 4.00pm onwards today (Thursday 1 February) until 6.00pm on Sunday (4 February) at participating Shell stations.
The “96 for 91” offer will bring savings of up to five cents per litre over the three day period at participating stations.
The new offer follows the lead Shell took in December to deliver better fuel prices, and reconfirms the Company’s commitment to keep delivering better prices into the future.
In December, Shell initiated two consecutive discount days which saw prices plunge by 10 cents. The Company also forced one of its competitors to reduce its petrol prices two weeks ago when a seven cent petrol price increase was attempted.
Shell Retail Manager Steve Foster said the Company was buoyed by customer support, and promised to keep delivering better fuel prices while customer loyalty was maintained.
“Shell is emphatic that it will be the most cost competitive and innovative company in the fuel sector, and its prices will be the best available.”
Mr Foster says this latest discount has nothing to do with international price movements, and is entirely directed at winning new customers.
“We want customers to know that we value their support and will go the extra mile to get it.”
