Shell Offers Further Fuel Discounts

Shell Offers Further Fuel Discounts – “Delivering Better Prices!”

Shell says customers can be assured of getting the best petrol prices by adding a three cent cut in petrol prices announced this afternoon to the $1 discount voucher launched over the weekend.

Shell Retail Manager, Steve Foster, says customers are supporting the latest coupon promotion, and today’s three cent price cut for petrol and diesel will make that offer even more attractive.

“Shell is committed to delivering better fuel prices and our raft of innovative pricing promotions are proof of that. We are even prepared to invite customers to fill up at any of our competitors if they can find a better deal.”

Customers who present Shell’s $1 discount voucher at any participating Shell service station are entitled to a $1 discount on $20 or more of fuel purchased.

These discount vouchers, published in all of the country’s newspapers last weekend, will be valid until the 4th March 2001.

Mr Foster says the discount voucher offer equates to a saving of approximately five cents per litre.

“Combined with the three cent price reduction announced today, this represents savings of roughly eight cents per litre.”

Shell has led a series of price reductions since December, including two 10 cent discount days.
