Caltex NZ Media Update Friday 1 June - Diesel
Caltex NZ Media Update Friday 1 June - Diesel
Achievements over the last 24 hours include:
- Most of our commercial marine customers are now free to go sea. We expect we will have safely pumped out and refueled in excess of 200 commercial vessels and pumped something approaching 1 million litres of diesel by the time we have finished.
- For a sample commercial customer comment, you can call Mr Keith Algie of Dolphin Explorer Ltd on 025 285-0024. The Dolphin Explorer takes up to 85 people at a time on dolphin watching expeditions in the Hauraki Gulf. The company had advertised its service for Queens Birthday and was facing the loss of the weekend’s business. Caltex pumped out and refueled the vessel today.
- Created 200 % increase in pumping capacity in Gisborne to meet demand
- All boats at Napier requiring replenishment have been completed
- Full status report attached
