gen-i Appoints New Ventures Principal

AUCKLAND, Tuesday September 4, 2001, – Internet integrator gen-i today announced the appointment of Steve Aitchison as a Principal in the Ventures Group’s leadership team.

In his new role, Steve will be responsible for the Group’s Auckland operations, monitoring delivery and support processes, overseeing resource management and managing software development projects for a number of the company’s blue chip clients.

Prior to joining gen-i, Steve was Strategic Consultant and Business Manager for Advantage Group’s E-services division. These roles assumed the responsibilities of full business unit accountability, developing business process strategies and project managing teams of up to 25 people. During this time Steve worked with clients including FlyingPig, Carter Holt Harvey, Lion Nathan, Sky City and New Zealand Immigration Services.

He has also been Program Manager and Business Analyst at QED Software and ASB Bank.
