Trade New Zealand Launches New Magazine

Trade New Zealand Launches New Magazine

Auckland, October 15, 2001-- Trade New Zealand today launched Trademark, a new bi-monthly magazine for the export community.

Aimed at exporters and others interested in international trade, the magazine is being published by Trade New Zealand and produced by Auckland publishers AGM Publishing Ltd.

Trade New Zealand CEO Fran Wilde says internationalising New Zealand businesses is critical andTrademark is the latest initiative under the organisation’s mandate to promote exporting.

“We want to provide a forum for thought-provoking debate of export-related issues, with opinion and analysis of international markets and New Zealand industries alongside practical advice.’’

The magazine will be joined later in the year by an export news website, Export Newsroom, set to extend Trade New Zealand’s recently revamped website (www.tradenz.govt.nz).

Trademark and Export Newsroom replace Export News, a fortnightly publication which had been produced by Christchurch’s Headliner Publishing for more than a decade.

The magazine, which has a circulation of 10,000, and the website will be edited in-house at Trade New Zealand.
