Shell Reluctantly Raises Prices – But Not Until Midnight
Shell New Zealand announced today that it was reluctantly increasing the prices of both grades of petrol by five cents per litre, but in order to give valued customers a chance to fill up, it was delaying the price rises until Midnight tonight (Thursday).
“Market pressures, including rising oil prices, have forced us to increase prices. However, as the company that is determined to bring the best possible prices to our customers, we have delayed this price rise until Midnight tonight, to enable customers to fill up at the cheaper prices,” Bruce Emson, Shell’s Retail Manager said.
“Shell monitors prices daily, and we will continue to bring the lowest possible prices to our customers,” Mr Emson said.
