PeopleSoft Strengthens New Zealand Leadership

Auckland, 14 December 2001 - PeopleSoft today announced the appointment of Andrew Batchelor to the role of National Sales Manager for New Zealand.

Previously in a variety of management positions during three years at Computer Associates, Andrew has over 15 years of sales experience in software and business intelligence solutions. Prior to that, Andrew was General Manger of Sales for PST Consulting. With a deep knowledge of the New Zealand marketplace, he is ideally qualified to drive sales of PeopleSoft’s Financials, Supply Chain, Market Place, eProcurement, CRM, and Analytics products in New Zealand.

Based in Auckland, Andrew reports directly to Stephen Jack, Regional Sales Director.

“I’ve charged Andrew with developing our profile in this market, and especially with growing the depth and breadth of our customer base,” says Stephen Jack. “His expertise and the results he has achieved in this market give me great excitement about how PeopleSoft will grow and perform in this region.”

Speaking on his appointment Andrew commented, “I’m delighted to be joining PeopleSoft at the time of the launch of PeopleSoft 8 CRM, which I know will deliver immense business benefits for New Zealand organisations. I was attracted to PeopleSoft because of their position in the market – the company has a tremendous breadth of solution offering and is the only vendor to deliver on the collaborative enterprise, spanning HR, CRM, financials and e-procurement.”
