Charges laid after Southland Go-Kart accident

The Occupational Safety and Health Service (OSH) has laid charges in relation to an accident which injured Roger McKernan in Invercargill on 9 March 2002.

The charges have been laid against Jennifer Ladbrook trading as Kart City under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.

"As the matter is before the Courts it is inappropriate that further detailed comment be made", said John Pannett, OSH Southland Service Manager.
