Charges laid after Fly By Wire Accident
The Occupational Safety and Health Service (OSH) has laid charges in relation to an accident where a tourist was injured last year.
The charges have been laid against Dunning Thornton Consultants Limited under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, Fly By Wire (Queenstown) Limited under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992 and the Machinery Act 1950, and Neil Harrap under the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992.
"As the matter is before the Courts it is inappropriate that further detailed comment be made", said John Pannett, OSH Southland Service Manager.
