Shell Drops Another Two Cents

30 May 2002

Shell Drops Another Two Cents - Second Time In A Week!

Shell's commitment to bring New Zealanders the best possible fuel prices is again demonstrated by dropping the price of both grades of petrol, and diesel, by 2 cants per litre, effective immediately.

"This will lead to a reduction at the pump of up to two cents per litre in many parts of New Zealand with a new prevailing price of 104.9 cents per litre for 91 octane, 109.9 cents per litre for 96 octane and 63.9 cents per litre for diesel," Shell's Retail Manager Bruce Emson said.

Mr Emson said that this further reduction, the second price drop by Shell this week and the fourth in the past two weeks, is evidence of Shell delivering on its commitment to bring all New Zealanders the best possible prices.
