Keith Phillips takes on Chairman role at Cadmus
Cadmus Technology Limited (NZSE: CTL) today advised that Keith Phillips will take over the role of Chairman at the company.
Keith has been an independent director of Cadmus for the last thirteen months. He has been associated with the growth and development of a number of technology companies, both internationally and in New Zealand, including Apple, UK and USA, Terabyte Interactive, IT Capital and Deep Video Imaging.
According to Mr Phillips, Cadmus has substantial growth potential in international markets – especially the Asia Pacific region - and is able to take advantage of New Zealand’s superior expertise in payment solutions.
“Management has worked hard over the past year to position the company for international growth,” says Mr Phillips. “With its strong focus on product development and manufacturing, the team is well placed to fulfill all of the sales orders received in the past 3-6 months.”
Most recently Keith was Managing Director of IT Capital. He has also been a Managing Director for Telecom Equipment Supplies and Managing Director for Terabyte Interactive – the latter he developed into New Zealand’s largest new media company and successfully sold to Rupert Murdoch’s NZ based company, INL. He is also presently active in developing ‘Innovation Harbour’, positioning Auckland’s innovation for the global marketplace.
“We
look forward to Keith’s leadership at a time when we are
ready for significant domestic and international expansion,”
says Cadmus Managing Director, Ian Bailey. “He has a
tremendous amount of international business experience and
will be able assist greatly as we expand and move into new
high growth markets.”
