Shell offers chance to fill up at old prices
Again, Shell gives motorists a chance to fill up at old
prices
Shell New Zealand today announced the movement in world oil prices had forced it to put up the price of both grades of petrol and diesel by 3 cents per litre, however, Shell was delaying the price rise until 9.00 PM tonight (Wednesday) to give motorists a chance to fill up at the old prices.
“Shell commitment to bringing New Zealanders the best possible fuel prices, also extends to ensuring our customer have fair warning of prices rises, and a chance to fill up at the existing price,” Shell’s Retail Manager Bruce Emson said today.
‘The recent upward movement in the oil price has made today’s rise inevitable. ‘However, Shell monitors prices daily, and will continue to ensure that New Zealanders continue to receive the best possible prices.” Mr Emson said.
Unleaded 91 grade petrol rises to 102.9 cents per litre, unleaded 96 grade goes to 107.9 cents per litre, with diesel costing 64.9 cents per litre at most Shell Service Stations.
