Shell Drops Prices

Shell Drops Prices

Shell New Zealand Retail Manager Mark Nobilo today announced Shell was dropping the price of petrol and diesel by two cents a litre, effective immediately.

"The strengthening New Zealand dollar and the easing of international oil prices has made this price drop possible, and Shell is pleased to start the New Year with this positive news for motorists.

"Shell will continue to bring New Zealanders the best possible fuel prices in 2003, as we did in 2002," Mr. Nobilo said.

The new price for 91 grade petrol is $1.05.9 per litre, with 96 grade falling to $1.10.9 and diesel down to 67.9 cents per litre.

This price drop will not take effect in some areas where intense competition has already seen prices fall below these levels.
