Nelson to Enjoy New Level of Sophisticated Living For
Plans for Nelson’s first upmarket inner-city apartments have just been released to packed and excited audiences, according to Harcourts Nelson business owner, Paul Hedwig.
‘WestBridge Apartments’ are due for completion by
late 2004/early 2005 and will include 19 spacious apartments
focused on quality upmarket living.
Situated on the corner of Bridge and Rutherford streets, the current 1953 art deco commercial property’s style is being retained as part of the apartment plans by award winning architects, John Mills.
The apartments will come in either
two, three or four bedrooms and include at least twelve
square metres of deck space in each one. They will feature
double-glazed windows, high quality sound-absorbing
insulation along with sun and views that can’t be built out.
The three interior colour options reflective of the Nelson
area have been created and mixed especially for WestBridge.
Mr Hedwig said that with sunny Nelson enjoying a huge surge
in popularity, now was an ideal time to offer the
increasingly sophisticated population a new style of living
option. “The inner-city location will enable quick and easy
access to most of the city’s cafes and entertainment
venues.”
Marketed by Struan Bennett of Harcourts Nelson, the office is already experiencing strong interest from potential buyers both locally and from out of town.
WestBridge Apartments are being marketed by tender which
closes 1pm 25 September 2003. Mr Hedwig said he was
expecting offers to start above $320,000.
