Harcourts Invercargill Named Top
Out of 9,395 Real Estate Offices in Australasia
Harcourts Invercargill has proven that Southland is
not only the pride of the country, but the Trans Tasman even
by being judged best out of 9,395 real estate offices
throughout all of Australasia.
The Best Practice Award for Elite Performance by a Sales Team was awarded to Harcourts Invercargill owner, Tony Jenkins at the recent Best Practice Conference held in Australia this month.
The awards were given out by Australasia’s acknowledged expert on real estate agency ‘best practice’, Robert Bevan. Mr Bevan emphasised that the award was not based on sales figures alone, but a recognition of consistent excellence over a body of work of the entire team from management and sales through to office support staff.
The Best Practice awards
criteria noted “winners will have enjoyed a distinguished
career spanning many years. Success is measured over the
long term having regard to a wide range of benchmarks:
-
Consistent production of elite levels of income;
-
Contribution to the success of the team sometimes at the
expense of personal gain;
- A focus on understanding and
meeting the needs of past, current and prospective
clients;
- A positive measurable impact on the agency’s
market share, revenue and profit performance;
- Active
support of the local community;
- A track record of
personal improvement underpinned by a commitment to
continuous professional education and training.”
Mr Bevan said that several of the top contenders for the awards were working in areas where the average sales price was well over $1 million. “Given that their average sales price is just on $96,000 for this Harcourts team to win among all others in Australasia is an absolutely amazing credit to Tony, his team and the Harcourts brand they wear so proudly.”
Mr Jenkins said it was a great privilege to be recognised with this award and emphasised that it was a reflection of the commitment the entire team made to both real estate excellence and the Southland community they served. “We consistently strive to deliver the best service to our clients in our marketplaces including commercial, rural, lifestyle and residential. We feel privileged to work in and support Southland, and this award is just as much a reflection of the community, as our team.”
Managing Director of Harcourts International Ltd, Mike Green noted that Harcourts Invercargill had been a consistent high national acheiver, having won Harcourts’ National Top Office awards the last four years.
Mr Green added that, "Companies don't succeed, people do, and the success that Harcourts enjoys both in New Zealand and Australia is entirely due to the quality of the Harcourts people. Tony and his team at Harcourts Invercargill epitomise that quality - a team of absolute professionals led by one of the most outstanding leaders in our industry which this prestigious and well deserved award recognises. We are incredibly proud that they are a part of the Harcourts team."
