Certified Organics Builds Third Quarter Sales

Statement made by Mr David Warrick, Managing Director,
Certified Organics Limited

Organic weedkiller manufacturer, Certified Organics, continued to build sales momentum in the third quarter, registering sales in excess of $365,000, up more than 50% on the same period last year.

Total sales year to date now exceed $600,000 and are materially in line with previous indications and well ahead of those achieved at the same period last year.

[ Total sales for the 2002 financial year were $741,000.]

We are delighted with the progress being made in the New Zealand market by our new master distributor, who is continuing to build on last year’s successful initial launch into the retail market.

In addition to growing retail sales, we have also made initial sales into the commercial agricultural and local authority markets.

The Dunedin City Council is undertaking a full scale trial of Organic Interceptor™ as an environmentally better answer to roadside weed control while sales have also been made into the organic and conventional commercial agricultural markets.
