Navman Reaches $100million
Navman NZ has passed its goal of achieving $100 million in annual revenue.
Navman is the first company in the HiGrowth Project to reach $100m, a target set by the Power Up programme of 100 companies each reaching $100 million in annual revenue.
Navman President Peter Maire received the award from the Prime Minister Helen Clark at the Hi Tech Awards held in Auckland on Saturday.
Maire said achieving such a publicly-stated objective was significant for the 15-year-old company, and reflected Navman’s emphasis of research and development, innovation and the strength of its international partnerships
Navman is a multi-million-dollar business headquartered in Auckland, employing around 450 people worldwide and earning international respect for its market-leading GPS technology in marine, land and personal navigation products.
Navman has received a number of awards, including Trade New Zealand’s Exporter of the Year and the HiTech Deal of the Year and Supreme Award for Excellence during 2002.
