SIA To Serve Champagne In A345leadership’s Executive Economy Class
Passengers flying on Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) ultra long-haul A345LeaderShip Executive Economy Class will be able to sip champagne as they enjoy the Airline’s renowned in-flight entertainment system, KrisWorld, continue with their work or simply relax in the industry’s widest economy class seats.
Along with the champagne, passengers can enjoy a selection of top-quality wines from the best vineyards in the world. These will include a delicate balance of old and new world wines, from Italy, France and the US, selected by our wine panel or world-renowned wine experts - Steven Spurrier from United Kingdom, Anthony Dias Blue from the United States and Michael Hill-Smith from Australia.
The Executive Economy Class cabin is a new cabin type specially designed to offer greater comfort and convenience for passengers travelling on the A345LeaderShip. The new cabin will feature the industry’s widest Economy Class seats at 20”, an expanded seat pitch of 37”, a leather adjustable headrest, and extended leg and foot rests, a larger personal monitor at 9”and laptop power supply.
To provide greater comfort on the 16 to 18 and a half hour flight between Singapore and Los Angeles, the Executive Economy Class cabin will also feature the first in-flight lounge available in economy class, offering passengers an area to socialise, stretch their legs and help themselves to snacks and beverages.
The A345LeaderShip will operate its inaugural non-stop flight from Singapore to Los Angeles in February 2004, and then between Singapore and New York in August the same year.
The aircraft cabin was
designed, with just 64 Raffles (Business) Class and 117
Executive Economy Class seats, to offer customers greater
comfort and convenience on the non-stop service.
