Caltex New Zealand Announces New Country Chairman
Nick Hannan has been appointed Country Chairman and General Manager Marketing for Caltex New Zealand, effective from 1 January 2004. He will be based in Auckland.
Mr Hannan has broad knowledge of the petroleum market in New Zealand, and currently heads Caltex’s lubricants business. He has previous experience with Challenge Petroleum and BP, in both New Zealand and the United Kingdom, as well as lubricants experience within ChevronTexaco, Caltex’s parent company.
His appointment is part of the global transformation exercise flowing on from the 2001 merger of Chevron and Texaco, the then joint owners of Caltex. The transformation involves a number of strategic, portfolio and organisational changes designed to improve competitive position and create long-term value.
Mr Hannan replaces Mike McMenamin as Country Chairman, whose next assignment is yet to be announced.
