For the New Year, members of SIA’s frequent flyer programme, KrisFlyer, can look forward to have more ways to earn and redeem miles with new partners, the Peninsular Hotels group and Citibank International Personal Bank.

The Peninsula Hotels With eight award-winning properties in key gateway cities in Asia and the USA, the Peninsula Hotels group has more than 3000 elegantly furnished rooms for travelers to choose from.

To celebrate the new partnership, KrisFlyer members will enjoy double miles and complimentary breakfast, plus a one-way transfer when they stay at Peninsula Hotels from now to 15 February 2004.

Citibank International Personal Bank Singapore Citibank International Personal Bank Singapore provides customers with off-shore investment options to suit their financial needs.

From now till 31 January 2004, KrisFlyer members who invest US$50,000 or more and redeem Global Giveaway vouchers for KrisFlyer miles, will enjoy a one-time 25% discount on the KrisFlyer miles required for one First Saver or Business Saver round-trip award.

In the months ahead, resort chains Universal Resorts and Sol Melia Resorts and Hotels, DBS Hong Kong, Mashreqbank and Hutchison Telecom will come onboard the partnership to offer KrisFlyer members even more opportunities to earn KrisFlyer miles while shopping, flying, and even banking.

KrisFlyer members can also take advantage of current promotions to usher in the New Year. Stopover Promotion From 1 January to 31 March 2004, the stopover fee of 10,000 Krisflyer miles per round-trip Saver Award, will be waived for KrisFlyer members stopping over in Singapore.

Companion Award Promotion KrisFlyer members will enjoy a 50% discount on Companion Awards to selected destinations from now to 31 January 2004.

Launch of the Non-stop Service A345LeaderShip From 3 February to 31 May 2004, KrisFlyer members will earn double miles when they fly on the history making non-stop A345 flight between Los Angeles and Singapore and at participating hotels in Singapore and Los Angeles Members will also enjoy 25% discount on the Companion Award redemption for travel in Raffles (Business) Class.
