Vital Time for MYOB Launch
Real clients, talking about solutions to the problems they face daily in their own small businesses are at the heart of MYOB’s latest promotional campaign, launched this week.
For MYOB General Manager, David Lowe, the views of New Zealand’s small business owners on the rapidly changing business environment are vital to the developments his company is promoting.
“With 96.8% of the country’s private sector enterprises employing 19 or fewer full-time equivalents and 86% employing five or less FTEs, there can be no doubt that New Zealand’s economy is driven by the dynamic small business,” says David Lowe.
“These companies are facing wholesale changes that affect their business - from compliance requirements to the latest technological innovations.”
“For many businesses, any new and complicated developments can act as a major impediment to their ability to do business.”
David Lowe says MYOB, which will follow its latest promotional campaign with the release of new versions of its core accounting products, has focussed on providing mature and robust technology for small businesses and the accounting sector.
“Our software range and support programmes are designed to provide hardworking, reliable solutions, which are easy to adopt and enable businesses to maximise productivity,” says David Lowe.
“We are also preparing for new developments in the business environment by upgrading solutions or providing new products. For example, in our latest release we will be bundling MYOB Payroll with our core Accounting products to allow businesses to comply with the latest amendments to the Holidays Act, which come into effect from 1 April.”
David Lowe says MYOB is forecasting a significant increase in customers this year as a result of the new campaign and the release of the product upgrades.
“We are expecting to see an increase of over 25% in the number of businesses using MYOB products,” says David Lowe.
“This increase should reflect a growth in the total
market for business software solutions, as more businesses
see the benefits of automating accounting processes and
reporting
functions.”
