Cardrona Announces 2004 Lift Ticket Prices
Cardrona Alpine Resort today (13 February) announced its 2004 lift ticket rates with only marginal increases for the consumer.
Day passes have risen by just $3 to $68. Season ticket rates reflect this increase with prices starting at $449 for an adult’s early bird pass, up $50 on last year. The child/youth and 60+ early bird passes remain unchanged at $99 and $199 respectively.
“The board has deliberately kept the price increase minimal so our customers can continue to enjoy Cardrona’s world class facilities at great lift ticket prices. It’s all part of the deal in delivering a leading product to New Zealand’s ski industry,” said Cardrona’s marketing manager, Nigel Kerr. “This season will once again see over $5 million of capital investment in the ski area. Last year we built the country’s most comprehensive Children’s Alpine Centre, this year our major improvement is the Whitestar Express quad chairlift.”
Cardrona season pass holders will also benefit from discounted rates at ski fields throughout the country, receiving $20 off Treble Cone, Porter Heights, Mount Dobson, Lyford, Whakapapa and Turoa adult day passes and $15 off student day passes. Children receive a $10 discount except at Mount Dobson and Lyford.
Cardrona’s 2004 season passes are available on-line at www.cardrona.com from 16 February or directly from the Cardrona office in Wanaka.
