Origin Pacific Airways’ announces new Winter Schedule, Christchurch to Queenstown services and New International partners
Origin Pacific Airways announces it’s new winter schedule effective April 2004. Highlights of the new schedule include twice daily services between Christchurch and Queenstown operated solely by Origin Pacific departing Christchurch at 8:30 arriving Queenstown at 9:30 and again in the afternoon departing Christchurch at 3.55 and arriving in Queenstown at 4.55. Further highlights of the new schedule include 6 flights a day from Auckland to Wellington plus the introduction of the ATR on that service, new weekday services from Auckland to Napier, increased schedule from Auckland to Palmerston North and aircraft capacity upgrade to their British Jetstream 41 on service to and from Hamilton. These new services will provide great connections for the South Island to North Island regions.
Origin also announced two new international partners today, one of the world’s largest airlines Korean Air with daily 747 departures from Auckland to Seoul, Korean Air’s international gateway to over 82 cities world-wide. The other is Air Tahiti Nui who fly to exotic Tahiti, and the cities of Los Angeles and Paris, three times a week from Auckland. Effective immediately, passengers travelling on Korean Air’s services and Air Tahiti Nui ex Auckland will have access via their travel agent to competitive addon fares from regional New Zealand that are fully flexible.
