SSA Global Announces Appointment of General Manager for New Zealand

February 18, 2004 - SSA GlobalT, a leading provider of extended enterprise solutions and services, has announced the appointment of Graeme Riley to the role of General Manager of the New Zealand operation.

Riley, with over three decades of senior management experience in software and the IT sector, joins SSA Global from GEAC Computer Corporation, where he was for over fourteen years - most recently as Managing Director, Asia Pacific. Over the past six months, Riley has worked on a contract basis with companies including SSA Global, assisting the Asia/Pacific/Japan organisation with specific strategic initiatives.

Having commenced his career in New Zealand, Mr. Riley has a strong knowledge of the specific requirements of the local market place and is excited to be returning to New Zealand after a lengthy absence.

Graeme Riley is General Manager New Zealand at SSA Global, and has over 30 years of experience in IT management. He began his career at Computer Consultants where he was the Operations Manager providing national Mitsubishi dealer networks with IT solutions. From there he established his own successful computer bureau company called Valley Computers which initiated many firsts such as transaction based pricing and direct debit charging. His successes at Valley Computers lead Riley to GEAC Computer Corporation as Managing Director, Asia/Pacific where he managed the regional business units, steered strategic direction, increased operational efficiencies and grew regional markets via acquisitions and strategic partner alliances.
