42 BELOW hits the red carpet

The Beverly Hills Hotel, which stocks 42 BELOW is again hosting the Pre Oscar Party and 42 BELOW will be the exclusive vodka served. And for our Lord Of The Rings stars a bottle is being delivered to their own room before the big Oscar night. The 42 team are certainly not shy about their intentions.

The card attached to each bottle states:

“Please accept this bottle of 42 BELOW vodka as a symbol of our willingness to do anything for free publicity. If it’s not too much trouble can you please take it with you where ever you go on OSCAR night. For example, you’re casually swaggering up the red carpet when you arrive, and then that crazy gay guy comes up and asks you how come you’re so well dressed, and you say “Well, I owe it all to 42 BELOW vodka, available at a retail outlet near you!” Or something like that. That would be super cool.

Oh hey! You’ll also probably get an OSCAR! And then when you go up to collect it you can hold the OSCAR up in one hand and the 42 BELOW bottle in the other! (Important note: be careful your hand doesn’t cover the label when doing this). Anyway, you get the general idea. In other news, if you happen to be reading this and you also happen to be Liv Tyler then my number is 64 21 77 66 17 and I’m a Gemini.” . Geoff Ross, CEO and “chief vodka bloke” explains: “We are excited to be at the Oscars again for sure. We wanted to send the LOTR stars and crew a genuine message. With pure NZ product. They receive truck loads of free stuff and I bet most of it is gimmicky. They know the deal, so we thought we’d be honest about what we were doing and hope they have good reason to celebrate with some of our vodka on the night.”

The stars will not be the only people celebrating with 42 BELOW in LA this Sunday. 42 BELOW vodka rocketed into the US in May 2003, 2000 accounts have been secured in California alone and hot L.A. bars such as Mondrian, Bliss, Shelter and the Gate all stock it.
