42 Below enters new alliances

42 Below enters new international Sales and Distribution alliances with Fosters Brewing International and Pearl Beverages

Auckland, 18th March, 5pm: New Zealand vodka and gin maker 42 Below (FTB) announced today it is entering into a sales and distribution agreement with Foster’s Brewing International (FBI) covering the Australian / Pacific Duty Free channels as well as potentially Foster’s other International sales regions in Asia.

This deal will combine the super premium 42 BELOW Pure Vodka, 42 BELOW Feijoa Vodka, 42 BELOW Passionfruit Vodka and SOUTH Gin brands with Fosters Brewing International’s own premium spirit products across these important Duty Free Channels. The agreement also includes any new products to developed or distributed by 42 Below in the future.

“The deal has come about because of the success of the direct sales model that we use in our export markets,” said Grant Baker, Executive Chairman, 42 Below. “Our model includes partnerships, incentives and education with leading bar owners and managers. Fosters agrees that there is a lot of synergy between our market approach and what they are doing in the premium spirits space,” he added.

42 Below also announced an expansion in its US distribution arrangements with the appointment of Pearl Beverages as its new exclusive importer.

42 Below have recently started to gain a foothold in the 400 million litre U.S. vodka market following the launch of 42 Below Pure Vodka.
This momentum is now expected to accelerate with the news that in addition to Pearl’s appointment, regulatory approval to launch 42 Below Passionfruit and 42 Below Feijoa Vodkas has been received in March. Both new line extensions to 42 Below will be launched immediately with the first shipments departing New Zealand before the end of the month.

The Board of 42 Below considers these agreements to be an important milestone in the progress of the company’s export strategy.
