Singapore Airlines Launches Service To Nanjing

Singapore Airlines’ (SIA) New Zealand customers can now fly to Nanjing in Eastern China thanks to three new weekly flights launched by SIA last Sunday.

SIA will be the only Southeast Asian airline to fly to Nanjing. The addition of these new services brings SIA’s total number of weekly flights to China to 88.

Flight SQ810 will depart Singapore every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 0120 hrs and arrive in Nanjing at 0625 hrs in the same day. Flight SQ809 will depart Nanjing every Wednesday, Friday and Sunday at 0845 hrs and arrive in Singapore at 1350 hrs in the same day.

Nanjing, the capital of the Jiangsu Province is located at the lower reaches of the Yangtze River and is a modern city with an urban population of 2.7 million. Nanjing has a history and heritage that dates back thousands of years and boosts the reputation of being the Capital of Ten Dynasties. Commercially, Nanjing is not only an important hub for telecommunications in Eastern China, it also serves as a gateway to cities like Yangzhou, Suzhou and Wuxi.
