One of New Zealand's largest employers in the travel industry has launched a new website dedicated to its future employees, featuring career information and opportunities across all sectors of the company nationwide.

With more than 135 shops and businesses across ten different retail, wholesale and corporate brands, Flight Centre (NZ) Limited offers more diversity in a travel career than you could throw a luggage label at, from retail consulting to property leasing, marketing and more.

The new website, http://www.careers.flightcentrelimited.co.nz, also available via the Flight Centre website http://www.flightcentre.co.nz, features current vacancies with a simple search tool, along with comprehensive information about a career with Flight Centre Limited.

The site uses the successful 'Page Up' software, that was also used to recruit for the Sydney 2000 Olympics, and is used by some of Australasia's largest employers.

Recruitment manager Richard Clowes said there was a misconception that the company only recruited for retail travel consultants, but the range of career options within the company was extensive.

"Flight Centre Limited is comprised of six retail and corporate brands, as well as a wholesale division and numerous support areas. In addition, the majority of our business services are done inhouse, so we not only have travel consultants and ticketers but marketers, accountants, graphic designers, advertisers and more," he said.

Mr Clowes said the site also provided information about what it is like to work for the company, company philosophies, awards nights, global opportunities and Employer of the Year accolades.
