Peter Maire Joins Cadmus Board
AUCKLAND - 6 October 2004 - Payment solutions company, Cadmus Technology Limited (NZX: CTL), today announced the appointment of Navman founder, Peter Maire, as a Director. He replaces Phillip Joe, who has simultaneously resigned.
In August Maire acquired 18.4 percent of Cadmus stock through his company Tahia Investments Limited.
Says Maire: “I believe that Cadmus is a technology company with global potential and one where my skills and experience can really add value. It’s a genuinely good New Zealand company that produces world-class payment solutions. It’s ready to scale into international markets and I think I can help them with that.”
Cadmus Chairman Keith Phillips said, “Peter is a rarity amongst directors of technology companies. His engineering and manufacturing experience, coupled with his knowledge of the international market place and his proven commercial track record make him an invaluable resource for the company. Cadmus is fortunate to have him on its Board.
We thank Phillip for the contribution he has made to the business over the last two years and his commitment to the development of Cadmus.”
