Certified Organics Products - Australian Retail Success And NZ Local Authority Vote Of Confidence
Certified Organics has reported the first full Australian retail launch of one of its products - Organic Interceptor™ No More Mould.
Organic Interceptor™ No More Mould is being launched nationwide through over 1,400 stores including the market-leading Bunnings Network.
John Macintosh, Retail Marketing Manager for Biocoat Australia reports: “It is usually extremely difficult to gain acceptance of any new product into this network. Our quick success indicates the Australia buyers’ awareness of a large and increasing demand for effective organic and environmentally friendly products in this country.”
The next Australian retail launch for Certified Organics will be its weed killer - currently being prepared for release within the next couple of months.
Certified Organics’ Australian sales now exceed its sales in New Zealand.
Certified Organics announced the appointment of Biocoat pty Limited as their Australian master distributor in June 2004.
In New Zealand, the Company is pleased to report that Dunedin City Council has renewed its contract for use of Organic Interceptor™ weed killer. The product passed an exhaustive 12 months trial of its effectiveness. It is also proving to be highly cost effective, saving the council around $250,000 dollars annually, in comparison to the steam weeding system it replaced. The contract, held through Works Infrastructure, has been extended for a further two years.
