Kids - Write Your Wish Lists For Santa

Kids - Write Your Wish Lists For Santa

With Christmas only weeks away New Zealand Post is encouraging children throughout New Zealand to start writing their Christmas wish lists to send to Santa by post or online.

Children can either write to Santa by sending him a letter to his home address of Santa, c/o North Pole, or by contacting him via the New Zealand Post website http://www.santa.nzpost.co.nz/, says Ian Long, External Communications Manager, New Zealand Post.

"When children visit the website they just click on Rudolph the reindeer's nose and then write their list of presents. Santa will reply to children either by email or by letter.

"Children writing letters to Santa are reminded to attach a 45-cent stamp, include their mailing address and try to send their letter before 15 December so Santa can reply before Christmas."

Last year more than 70,000 children, including some from overseas, either posted letters to Santa or sent their wish list to him online.

"Letters have already started coming in from well-organised children. Popular items so far this year include Power Rangers and Robosapiens as well as classic board games and old favourites like Barbie and Lego," Mr Long said.
