InterCity commits to long term Auckland - Wellington Overnighter

InterCity Coachlines is committed to maintaining an overnight passenger transportation service between Auckland and Wellington. To demonstrate the comfort, convenience and reliability of their service between these two cities - and the many points in between - InterCity is offering a limited number of seats on each departure of their "Starlighter" service, for only $10 one way until 31 March 05.

"With the withdrawal of other overnight services between Auckland and Wellington, InterCity is committed to providing an option between the two cities - we will always match capacity with demand!" emphasised Malcolm Johns, General Manager, Sales & Service, InterCity Coachlines. "We provide on-time service, with quiet, comfortable, clean, washroom equipped, modern air conditioned motor coaches. It is an option that is extremely important, not only to the two major cities but the many towns and communities serviced along the route!" said Johns.

The Starlighter overnight service has reclining seats so that you can get some shut eye, onboard video if you want to watch a movie, and individual seat lights if you want to read. But plan ahead - seats are limited.
