Australian and New Zealand Solar Water Heating Workshop

Venue: Lion Harbour View Suite,

Wellington Town Hall, 111 Wakefield St,Wellington.

9 February, 2005.

The Solar Industries Association and the Energy Efficiency and Conservation Authority (EECA) present a workshop featuring presentations from key Australian and New Zealand industry experts.

Within New Zealand the annual amount of energy being collected by solar water heating systems has been growing at a rate of 50-70% per year. This workshop will examine what has been achieved in New Zealand and Australia to date, and discuss the next steps for growth in the industry.

Attendees will:

* Learn about the respective New Zealand and Australian incentive programmes

* Discuss how system energy performance testing is carried out and what the results mean

* Learn about how the Australian and New Zealand solar water heating standards are being set

The workshop is an opportunity to learn about progress in the solar water heating industry in both New Zealand and Australia, and to obtain an update on solar water heating technology in both countries.
