Garuda Indonesia gives Parents a Big Break
Media Release – Garuda Indonesia – February 2005
Garuda Indonesia gives Parents a Big Break with $499 kid’s fares to Bali and extra-value ‘Family Packages’
Garuda Indonesia is giving parents a big break with special $499* children’s fares.
Combined with adult packages from $1099^ also being launched this month, there has never been a better time for families to visit Bali.
New Zealand Sales Manager of Garuda Indonesia Ms Deanna Mihaljevich says that Bali prides itself on being a truly ‘Family Friendly’ island.
“Parents can easily arrive home from holidays exhausted from running after excited, energetic children,” says Ms Mihaljevich.
“Seeing the need of families to enjoy their break together, but also for parents to find the rest they need to unwind and recharge themselves, Bali resorts are happy to arrange inexpensive babysitting within the resort complex.
“Additionally, many resorts have Kids Clubs. The Clubs have busy programmes of arts, crafts, swimming, and cultural exploration – the children love it, and parents have time to spend together,” she says.
Families can enjoy daytrips to the large variety of entertainment venues in Bali. With options including the beautiful Butterfly Park, elephant trekking, go carting, snorkelling adventures and the world-class Waterbom Park, where children and adults can enjoy the fun of water slides and rides with the safety of Australian-trained Life Guards, there is no shortage of fun to be had in Bali.
Garuda Orient Holidays has developed a wide range of family-friendly holiday packages, incorporating the special $499 kid’s fare.
For example, Garuda Orient Holidays is offering two adults and one child six nights at the Garden View Cottages in Legian from just $2699ʞ. This package includes breakfast daily, and a free Kintamani Volcano tour for the family. Two adults with two children stay with the same package from just $3335ʞ.
For a more luxurious holiday, Garuda
Orient Holidays has arranged a very special family price at
the Sheraton Laguna, located in Bali’s premier resort area
of Nusa Dua. The package, including a room upgrade and free
buffet meals for all children when accompanied by paying
adults, is available from $3599# for two adults and one
child, or $4679# for two adults with two
children.
Families should not delay though – “The special children’s fares are available for travel until the end of June, but must be purchased before the end of February,” says Ms Mihaljevich.
