Voting for Director election closing

Voting for Director election closing

Meat & Wool New Zealand is encouraging farmers in the Western North Island area to cast their vote in the director election currently underway.

The Western North Island seat is the only electorate being contested this year, with Tony Brennan standing against incumbent director Jeremy Austin. Election Day is Wednesday March 2, with voting closing at 2pm.

The electorate covers a large area including Taupo to Taranaki and Palmerston North, and from Wanganui to Rangitikei, the Horowhenua, Kapiti and Wellington. Farmers in these areas have been sent voting forms for the election.

Meat & Wool New Zealand is also encouraging levy payers to register for its AGM and “Growing the future” Conference in Canterbury on March 16 and 17.

For more information about the AGM and Conference or to register, levy payers can phone Meat & Wool New Zealand’s freephone.
