Woosh extends its Southland coverage
Woosh extends its Southland coverage to more than 10,000
households
Woosh Wireless has further extended its high-speed broadband coverage in Southland with the commissioning of new sites in Twin Law, Riverton and Kuriwao Hill, bringing its total coverage in the area to 10,000 households.
The new sites will add a further 1,500 households and businesses into the Woosh coverage area, as well as strengthening the service provided by the company’s sites at Tuatapere, Winton Hill, Gore and Central Invercargill.
The Kuriwao site will extend coverage to the townships of Wyndam and Edendale, and the Twin Law site will include Ohai and Nightcaps townships.
Woosh chief executive Bob Smith says the three new sites mean the Southland rollout is now gathering momentum. The company has further sites scheduled to go live in the area over the upcoming months.
“Our wireless technology is well suited to a region such as Southland with its large land area, hilly terrain and widely dispersed population and as a result we are experiencing strong demand for our service.
“Our network rollout is progressing according to schedule, with the company continuing to expand coverage in Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch as well as in Southland.”
He says the company is now lifting the momentum of its sales with four attractively priced plans:
Woosh Elevate ¯ $29.95 (including GST) a month with a 200MB high speed data cap;
Woosh Express 1 ¯ $39.95 (including GST) a month with a 1GB high speed data cap;
Woosh Express 3 ¯ $49.95 (including GST) a month with a 3GB high speed data cap
Woosh Express 10 ¯ $69.95 (including GST) a month with a 10GB high speed data cap.
