Twenty Percent Of Addison Sold During Opening Weekend
While economists continue to advise New Zealand's house-buying boom is slowing, Generation Development's newest Papamoa subdivision 'Addison' proved otherwise, with almost twenty percent of the development selling during opening weekend.
Addison was officially opened on Saturday and Generation marketing manager Vicky Mills says with six homes sold and more buyers expressing keen interest, she expects up to one third of the subdivision to sell within the first couple of weeks.
Up to 500 groups of people travelled to Papamoa on Saturday to visit Addison's showhome, which is now open daily from 10am-4pm.
Five-time New Zealand Ironman champion Cameron Brown officially opened Addison and was overwhelmed with the number of people asking about his athletic career and wanting autographs.
"It was exciting for me to be able to officially open Papamoa's newest subdivision. I've always enjoyed cycling and running around this vibrant area."
Brown stayed in Papamoa talking with visitors for a couple of hours before cycling to Rotorua to open 'Riverside' Generation's first showhome and subdivision there.
Vicky Mills says Papamoa's envied lifestyle, proximity to great beaches, fabulous weather and varied recreational activities make it a popular place to live.
