InternetNZ is seeking an Executive Director
InternetNZ is seeking an Executive Director, and advertisements have appeared today seeking applicants for the role.
The current Executive Director, Pete Macaulay, retires on 31 July 2005. "InternetNZ today, is almost unrecognisable from where we were three years ago, in terms of the range of activities we are involved in, and the relationships we have with stakeholders. Much of the credit for this belongs with Pete." said Vice-President David Farrar.
"When we employed Pete, we were looking for someone who would grow InternetNZ, and he has done that incredibly successfully. InternetNZ is now engaged in literally dozen of issues on a regular basis."
Applications for the role will close on 23 April 2005. It is intended to have the new Executive Director commence work by the end of June, to allow a smooth transition.
"We are looking forward to considering applications from interested persons who have a passion for Internet issues, proven management ability and excellent leadership skills." concluded David Farrar
