Review Of The Code Of Banking Practice
The New Zealand Bankers' Association has announced the launch of a review of the Banking Code of Practice. The purpose of the Code is to promote good banking practice and maintaining good bank/customer relationships and communication, and was last reviewed in 2002.
Auckland commercial lawyer, David Jones, has been appointed as an Independent Reviewer to consider public submissions and recommend appropriate changes to the Association. Written submissions are being sought from the public and should be sent to:
