Major Parties Reveal Their Arts Policies On Frontseat’s Election Special
This Sunday 4th September, TV One, 10.30pm
This Sunday TV One’s weekly arts current affairs show Frontseat is an hour-long election special featuring the arts policies of the major players in this month’s General Election.
Labour leader Helen Clark – who has held the Arts portfolio for the past six years – releases her party’s new arts policy on Sunday. National – the last political party to have an arts minister of high standing in Alan Highet – returns to Frontseat with more details of the arts policy they discussed earlier in the year.
The Greens, United Future, New Zealand First, Maori Party, Progressives and Act will also discuss their views on what role the state should play in the arts.
