New Chair For Property Managers' Group

New Chairman For The Property Institute Property Managers' Special Interest Group

The Property Institute of New Zealand's Special Interest Group has Mr Paul Rogers as its new chairman. This follows previous Chair, John Church, moving to Sydney

Institute President Gerard Logan said today, "Paul will be an excellent replacement for John Church who to date has done a great job. Our Property Managers SIG is a key driver in the Institute as it represents a large part of our diverse membership. I look forward to working with Paul as he and his group continue to progress issues for property and facility managers."

Paul Rogers said today, "I am delighted to represent the Property Institute of New Zealand in this capacity and look forward to actively representing and promoting Property and Facilities Managers' interests."

Paul Rogers is the Managing Director of Spire Consulting, specialising in strategic asset management and performance based procurement strategies. Paul consults to a wide variety of global clients in the health, local government infrastructure, utilities and commercial property environments.

Paul's research into property and facilities management service provision has been widely published and presented globally. Paul holds a Masters Degree of Building Science (FM), Diploma's in Environmental Management and Energy Management. In 1997 he was awarded the Property Council Property Achiever of the Year Award for research into strategic facilities management. Paul is the Property Institute FM representative and he is also a graduate of the Australian Graduate School of Management, Executive Management Programme.
