2005 EFFIE Award Finalists announced today

The 2005 EFFIE finalists have been announced today as the advertising industry gears up for the prestigious EFFIE Awards.

The awards recognize the very special partnership between advertisers and their agencies – that’s why it is so appropriate that CAANZ, ANZA and TVNZ should jointly present the EFFIES.

The event continues to go from strength to strength. This year has again seen a record number of entries – up 10 percent on last year with a strong line-up of entries.

The 2005 EFFIE Award Show will be held in the Auckland Rooms, Sky City Convention Centre on the 27h October. Tickets are on sale now and can be booked by downloading the order form on www.caanz.co.nz

Congratulations to the following companies that made it through to the finalist stage:

Advertising Works Ogilvy, Blue Hat Advertising, Colenso BBDO, Colenso99, DDB, FCB, Generator, Lowe, M & C Saatchi, MTC, Publicis Mojo, Republik, Saatchi & Saatchi, The Radio Bureau and Whybin TBWA.

Supporting these awards are of course our sponsors – led by TVNZ our major sponsor and also including ACP Media, AdMedia, ASB Bank, Fairfax New Zealand, Nielsen Media Research, The Internet Bureau, The Radio Bureau, TNS Research and xtraMSN. Without them the awards would not be possible.

A full list of finalist details are on www.caanz.co.nz
