DTZ Wellington Re-Launches Agency Services

James Morton has joined DTZ New Zealand as Head of Agency Services based in Wellington and will focus on providing added value investment advisory services to both New Zealand and overseas clients.

"DTZ Wellington is the market leader in terms providing valuation, plant and machinery and property research services. These services represent an ideal platform for DTZ to launch a new complimentary advisory backed agency service. I am looking forward to entering a new marketplace, establishing a core agency team and giving clients the benefit of my UK experience in leasing, sales, purchases and development," comments Mr. Morton.

He has over 24 years of professional experience in the commercial property market working with DTZ in the UK for the past 13 years specialising in advising clients on both acquisition and disposal programmes within both Central London and the other main UK regional office centres.

In addition to core agency services he also has extensive experience in advising clients on forward funding/development opportunities, and strategic asset management /portfolio advice.

Mr. Morton completed a BSc (Hons) in Estate Management from South Bank University in London and is a Member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (MRICS).

He started his property career in 1981 with Chartered Surveyors O'Reilly Hyland Tierney and Associates in Dublin, Ireland, where he specialized in project management services. Moving to London in 1987, he joined European Equity Corporation, a property Development Company which specialized in speculative office development throughout Central London. In 1992, he joined Debenham Tewson & Chinnocks (now DTZ) in London.
