Public Trust Wins FundSource Award - Again!

Public Trust's Growth Priority Fund has won the FundSource Diversified Growth Fund of the Year Award, it was announced today. In winning this award, Public Trust has beaten a host of top-flight rivals - for the second year running

"The FundSource Diversified Growth Fund Award is determined after rigorous analysis using both quantitative and qualitative factors. It recognises that Public Trust's Growth Priority Fund has, over the past three years, generated an attractive return for investors with a suitably low level of risk." said Pat Waite, chief executive of Public Trust.

"With a net return of 10.4%, the award also caps off a great year for investors in our fund."

"Our managed funds are gaining substantial recognition from the industry with Public Trust being named Morningstar Research's overall Fund Manager of the Year in 2003, the Balanced Fund and Defensive Fund being runners-up in FundSource Research's sector awards in 2003," said Mr Waite.

Working with New Zealanders for 132 years, Public Trust is New Zealand's largest and most enduring trustee organisation. Its services include Wills, enduring powers of attorney, estate administration, family trusts, pre-paid funeral trusts, education and inheritance trusts and charitable trusts, savings and investments, lending and insurance.

Public Trust has 35 customer centres; eight in the South Island and 27 in the North Island including seven in the greater Auckland region.
