NZ Team Victorious Over the Aussies!!
Our cocktail team will be bringing home the TransTasman Cocktail Championship trophy when they return to New Zealand later today.
It was a very close contest in Sydney last night, and although less experienced, our New Zealand boys did us proud and pulled through to win the first inaugural cocktail event between our arch rivals across the Tasman.
The victorious team was made up from top cocktail bartenders from around New Zealand:
- Glen Cullimore (Dickie), Concrete Club, Christchurch
- Jamie Hughes, Copa, Dunedin
- Linden Cooke, The Vatican, Dunedin
- Jamie Kendricks, Motel, Wellington
- Adrian Doss, Denim, Auckland
Glen and Linden also took individual second and third places with some great mixing and perfect technique.
